BELO HORIZONTE (SW) - Argentinian player Juan Pablo Sorín is set to leave German side Hamburger SV to continue his injury recovery at Cruzeiro in Brazil.

A knee injury kept Sorín from playing for Hamburg recently, and the two parties agreed that it would be better for the 32-year-old to try his luck elsewhere.

Cruzeiro are one of the main candidates to sign the now free agent, because of which they allowed the player to recover in Belo Horizonte.

It would not be the first time that Sorín plays for Cruzeiro, having done so before from 2000 to 2001 and again in 2004.

Other clubs on his long resume are Argentinos Juniors, Juventus, River Plate, Lazio Roma, FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Villarreal.

Poor Sorin, he's like me. I've lived in so many places I can't remember them all!
