MEXICO DF (SW) - Santos Laguna have won the Mexican Torneo Clausura, beating rivals Cruz Azul 3-2 on aggregate in the final.

After the 2-1 win at Cruz Azul in the first leg on Friday, Santos were the big favorites for the overall victory.

When Ludueña opened the score for Santos in the 16th minute of the second leg, Cruz Azul's chances were reduced even more.

But the final phase of the match had Santos in panic as Lozano scored an equaliser in the 82nd minute.

Santos wouldn't allow their opponents to score again however and secured the Clausura trophy.
