German international Andreas Görlitz has extended his loan from FC Bayern München to Karlsruher SC for a further season after an impressive 2007/08 campaign.

The 26-year-old has missed just one Bundesliga match this term, almost double what he mustered in three seasons at Bayern after switching from city rivals TSV 1860 München. He said: "I'm very happy in Karlsruhe and am glad that the decision has now been made."
