Avram Grant believes Chelsea and Manchester United should decide the destiny of the Premier League title with a winner-takes-all play-off if both teams finish level on points after Sunday´s dramatic finale.
i will agree with ajax, but a change is needed a play- off should only come as # 4 in line after 1: points 2: the two games between them 3: then the goal difference
Avram Grant is right. If ManU and Chelsea both win to-day, they'll end the season with the same number of points. So a playoff match would be fair, under the circumstances.
In my opinion, it's absolutely ludicrous that a team should win a championship on goal difference.

Scoring and conceding goals is what football is about. If they aren't taken into account this will drastically change the game sa a whole.chelsea_73 May 11st, 2008 12:35

its not about changing the rules at all.its about accepting your results - and Avram was greedy and he wanted more. Which isn't "fair" like he mentioned, at all.
